Community development increases job opportunities, reduces crime because the percentage of housing is high thus decreasing h omelessness. In U.K, for instance, social exclusions such as drug use, racism, teenage pregnancies and crime and disorder partnerships are witnessed on a daily basis. Social exclusion can happen to anyone, but those with low income, the disabled and in dysfunctional families are more at risk (Plant & Böhm, 2010, p. 109).
